The lawyers on the other end would not close our deal that we had on property due to a simple but stupid lawyer screw up. The lawyer and real estate agents are saying it’s o.k. we can close on Monday and not to worry because they have a verbal agreement between lawyers and agent about this. No paper work has been done but we are meeting with the lawyer Sunday, to have everything prepared for Monday morning. In the meantime, the deal ended 2 hours ago. Is the verbal agreement enough?

A verbal agreement is probably not worth the paper it’s written on. What if something goes wrong? You could be the one losing out big time. So, annoying though it may be, I’d wait until everything’s come through on paper.
