The part time job was at a law firm down the street where I worked for steady income but now they hired someone full-time and they let me go. I’ve earned commission from real estate last year but obviously not entitled for unemployment from real estate broker because I am an independent contractor and still am but can I collect for this part time job? Obviously if I earn wages from real estate while on unemployment I will notify them for that week.

I’m a realtor in NJ but worked a part time job which I have now been let go from - can I collect unemployment?
