Is this common??? The defendant will not be showing up to court, nor any represenative of theirs. My attorney will be making a lot of money and so would I. I dont want the money, however, I have a business partner who befriended the attorney, and I owe my partner some money, and they are acting like it is just a one time thing. I feel guilty and wrong about this. Why doesnt my attorney??
PS: I also understand that I will be under oath and that there are other precautions to take, however I have been through this process before, but have never had to do the lying that he and my partner are requesting me to do.

Nov 11, 09 at 2:33 pmJust sounds like you are a responsible, moral person with a conscious. Unlike your partner and the attorney. This says a lot about all of you if you think about it. Don’t do anything that makes you uncomfortable. There is a reason you feel unsure about lying…because you know its wrong!
