I am currently an attorney in WA, but am considering moving to Mexico. I know that selling real estate/timeshares are some of the only "jobs" available to Americans in Mexico. Although Mexico technically does not require a real estate license, the American firms there want you to be licensed. Anyway, I am not sure I want to sell real estate, but want to have options available to me. So, I guess my questions are:
1. Would having a license give me more credentials, i.e., I want to consult on real estate law and not sell real estate?
2. In WA how difficult is the class and exam?
3. In CA how difficult is the class and exam?
Thanks in advance!!

also every year you pay whatever fees to update your license and anything else.
if you do not renew and let your license expire, you must go through all steps again, including re-taking tests! and paying for them, so i would be sure you want to do this
